Buda-Pest

While we were waiting for our summer holidays we decided to spend a week-end in Budapest. We booked a very cheap flight with the company WizzAir and we chose Hotel The President which is located in Pest. There is a very useful and not expensive shuttle service offered by the company Shuttle Budapest (20 euro) to get to the center from the airport. In alternative there are also the bus and the train service. The town is composed by two urban areas: Buda and Pest, divided by the river Danubio and joined at the Chain Bridge.

Berenice

Berenice is a little know amazing place on the Red Sea coast close to the border with Sudan. The nearest airport is Marsa Alam and from there it takes more than 3 hours to reach Berenice. The landscape during the ride is very suggestive: the desert on sone side and the sea on the other side.

Road to Malaysia 🇲🇾 and Singapore 🇸🇬

January is the time of year when we start thinking about the holidays; not earlier because there still is the Christmas atmosphere, and not later because planning a journey requires time, patience and a lot of research. This year we chose Malaysia and Singapore. Honestly, at the beginning our idea was to visit Thailand, but when we started looking for information we changed our minds because we read many articles about Malaysia and its beauty, without diminishing Thailand that sooner or later we’d like to visit.

Next stop is…

We are very happy to share with you our next trip! We are going to explore Malaysia and Singapore. The journey includes a visit to Kuala Lumpur -the capital-, a little quiet time at the Perhentian Islands and finally few days in Singapore. We are really excited and we can’t wait to tell you about this fascinating country!

We chose Zanzibar because we both wanted to visit Africa, meet the people living there, explore that incredible island and discover what “mal d’Afrique” is. Sacred Mountain

If one day you will pass from Lombardia, you should spend some time in the Province of Varese where you will surely find some interesting places. We will dedicate a big space to Varese and its surroundings and we will try to tell as much as possible about it in our blog. Varese is a very heterogeneous territory and its biggest fortune is the Lake Maggiore, surrounded by the Alps. Its closeness to the lake, to the mountains and to Swiss’ borders makes Varese a land of tourism. Continue reading
